Pregnancy loss whether a miscarriage or still birth is a heart breaking experiance. Grief usally follows stages, from denial, anger, guilt, depression and at last acceptance.You do not have to be stronge or feel guilty about your loss, and its ok to cry, scream or yell to express what you feel, its natural and more healthy to do so. There is no right or wrong way to cope with losing a baby and everyone will have a different emotional journey. But over time your grief will change, however the effect of losing a baby will never leave you and you will never forget your baby.
Other people may offer well meaning advice to help you, but you must follow your heart, no one knows how you feel but you. Understanding this may help you to understand that women and men cope differently with miscarriage. At times it is normal for both you and your partner to retreat and deal with grief in your own way. Your partner may not feel the same way as you do but allow yourself to be honest with your partner about how you feel.
